Good Afternoon!

Today we started our weekly spelling! We are bringing home a letter and a practice sheet. These do not need to come back to school. We will practice our new words every day and then have a review and put them on our Class Word Wall! Then I will be expected to spell these words correctly in my work. Our new words are:
I
a
to
and*
the

*and is a word family ending! Try to find other words that end in "and".
to & the are what we call "sight words". They do not follow the typical sounds of the alphabet.

Our Dance unit in PE starts on Wednesday. We are getting excited!

Notes:
Please send any and all magazines to school that can be used to cut out words and pictures. We need lots of these please!
